AcroYoga is a beautiful practice that combines the dynamic wisdom of acrobatics, the awareness, breath and balance of yoga and the healing, loving nature of Thai massage. It’s a community practice, which, at its simplest, means that you are working with other people. In this way we can practice developing trust, connection and openness which can then be taken into the community as a whole. Alex guides meditation methods that can help calm, focus and relax the mind with a goal of helping people find their centre. His training started in the 1980’s working with a Northern Cree Shaman in Manitoba learning the spiritual and meditative practices of this native culture. Since then Alex has attended workshops and training sessions focusing on Buddhist meditation, Transcendental meditation, Stress Management, and how to incorporate Yoga into meditative practice. Workshop goals are to help people relax, manage stress and anxiety issues and other problems such as dwelling on the past and or worry about things that they cannot control. Alex believes that meditative practice is a journey that can be shared with others in a collaborative way to the collective benefit of a community. “Be Well”

Restorative Yoga is a practice designed to promote physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Breana will guide you into gentle restorative postures to compliment the nervous system and release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. The class will finish with a guided yoga nidra (sleep yoga).
